We were working on our session about LinkedIn content writing for the Unlocking the Power of Digital Networking course we are doing together with Siobhán Fitzpatrick and The Networking Hub, and I had this nagging feeling we are missing something important. That's when Hidai asked me that question.
It threw me about 7 years back to when, in what can only be described as one of the most surreal moments of my life, a UK immigration judge asked me that same question about my blog - out of all the content on the internet, why would people read yours?
I didn't have a good answer then, and I didn't have it now.
Some write to showcase who they are
Some write to showcase what they're about
Some write to promote ides or other companies
Some write to promote what they've achieved
Some write to create business opportunities
Some write to create awareness
Some write to build a brand
Some write to build a following
Some write to give value
But me? Well, I told Hidai what I told the judge - I have no idea, but I hope they find it interesting 😊
